We czwartek 2 sierpnia, tuż przed Off Festiwalem w Katowicach, zawitają do Czytelni Kawy goście z Holandii i USA, by zagrać genialny koncert o godz. 20:00:

• UNICORN HARD-ON (Nashville, US)

For many years now Unicorn Hard-On has been infiltrating the American and European underground with her unusual style of animal inspired electronic dance music. Incorporating elements of techno, industrial, noise and synth pop, four sequencers are used to create eerie backgrounds of tonal interference, glittering splashes of synth, and gradually multiplying pulsing beats, forming a wall of mutated dance madness. 2011 saw the release of a split 12" with Container on Florida's MORE Records and North Carolina's Hot Releases.

• LASER POODLE (Amsterdam, NL)

The duo of Cosmo Knex and Double Dipper has over the last 2 years toured both Europe and the US extensively, whilst they were intensifying their pulsating freeform beat music using synths, drum machines and other electronics. These two dogs evoke an unpredictable float of anything from awkward to hard hitting grooves, hailing inspiration from early acid house experiments and beat-heavy industrial. Laser Poodle has put out a row of cassettes archiving their improvised sessions, two vinyl releases are in preparation.

• MOEMLIEN (Amsterdam, NL)

Moemlien is the solo project of Hannah Friese from Amsterdam. She is exploring the many sides of the cassette tape as a medium for capturing and manipulation of sounds. Field recordings, percussion and melodic loops are layered into uplifting sonic spheres of the extraterrestrial kind, with a warm and open feel to them. In her adventures she uses electronics, keyboards, various acoustic objects & instruments and voice.
